Life Design Lab is a Richmond, VA consulting firm led by Simone Biasuzzi, an operations strategist, and Massimo Biasuzzi, an engineer, for growing mission-driven businesses.
Simone Biasuzzi
Founder and CEO
Simone is an operations consultant for scaling mission-driven businesses, easing growing pains so their leaders can focus on the people they serve. After 14 years across government, FinTech and technology companies, she has taken founders from idea to plan to pipeline and helped growing teams hand work off the owner's desk. Originally from the Bahamas, Simone speaks English, Italian and French.

Massimo Biasuzzi
CTO
Massimo builds the systems that make strategy work. With over 15 years as a software engineer across startups, boutique agencies and Fortune 500 corporations, he now focuses on AI and emerging technologies, and he architected and developed Strategy Lens, the in-house strategy platform that serves us and our clients. Originally from Italy, he is an avid guitarist and record collector.

WHY WE BUILT THIS
The same problem kept showing up.
Mission-driven founders have the courage to start businesses that serve a real need. Then they run them from their specialty, making decisions as things come up, with no one looking at the whole operating system. The business works, but the people running it are barely above water. We saw that gap between ambition and execution.
So we set up how the work flows, how teams communicate, and how technology serves them. In one business, staff now lead training, and the founders are free to pursue partnerships. When teams run well, founders get back to serving the people they exist for.
Between an operations strategist and an engineer, we cover the full cycle, from idea to strategy to execution to technology.
Life Design Lab (specifically Simone) has been a literal Godsend as I've gotten my own business to a feasible beginning. She's empathetic, relational and kind while offering direct, professional and focused support that moves a business and team toward tangible and workable outcomes.
